Duskfade walkthrough: Tick Town hub loop, community region order, Clock Tower chains, 25% boss phases, when to return home and when to backtrack. Names TBA.
Opening path after Tick Town through the first community-named biomes, then the hub loop repeats for each chain.
This Duskfade walkthrough is a hub index for Duskfade, not a room-by-room spoiler dump. Leave Tick Town, clear a region, unlock movement, break a Clock Tower chain, survive the boss (combat plus a 25% HP platform phase), then come home. Formal map names that exist only in community videos stay community-observed / TBA. Verified August 16, 2026 · Steam.
A Duskfade walkthrough search wants the loop, not a spoiler novel. You leave Tick Town, clear a distant region, break a lock on the Clock Tower, then come home. Reviews describe four chains. The developer site says five major regions from the hub, each ending in a boss. Follow the in-game locks — treat the count as sources disagree / TBA. Each location is a full region — main route, side paths, secrets — not a three-room corridor.

Biomes are themes, not a verified map list
Store copy names ethereal forests, underwater realms, sunlit dunes, and cloudy heights. Those are official themes. Reviewers also mention a beach of islets, skyrails in the clouds, snow, and a tropical port. None of that is a numbered chapter select. One review notes a ground clock mechanism for moving between unlocked biomes — treat travel rules as TBA until you use the device yourself.
Story beats you can trust
Achievement copy, not fan plot: meet Cuckoo; find the Clockwork Academy; break Tick Town’s Temporal Anchor; open the Tower doors; escape the Tower with Allira; reunite with Cuckoo; help Gramps cross the Veil. “Reunite with Cuckoo” implies a separation — we will not invent the chapter. First hours if the loop still feels abstract: beginner guide.
The next section is the part everyone wants: names, in something like an order, with every unofficial label marked.
What is the region and chain order?
There is no published official chapter list. This Duskfade walkthrough uses community-observed names from retail footage and reviews, then stops. If your HUD disagrees, trust the HUD.

What do I do in the first regions?
Reviews call Ezarus Forest the biome that kicks the journey off after Tick Town. Opening-region footage then continues into Scorched Grove. Both names stay community-observed / TBA. Your job in each is the same: follow the chain or anchor, take hearts and gears, note secrets, go home.

Ezarus Forest — first-visit checklist
Community walkthroughs of this forest describe: side chests off the main path, a first Echo, an Upgrade Gear before a Traveler stop, a Clock Heart Piece behind a longer jump, and a teleport back to Tick Town to spend before you push on. Treat chest counts and “star shard” piles as TBA. If a shop appears on the path, you can still return to town — you do not have to empty the biome first.
Scorched Grove and Mount Cinder
Scorched Grove is the second name in opening-region footage. Mount Cinder is the volcanic region demo coverage used for an early chain: crystal caves, lava pools, the hook-shot unlock, then Wrath. Who hands Grapple over stays TBA — Arpeggio is the music-box NPC, not a confirmed gadget tutor. Retail may insert forest hours before that fight. If your first boss is not Wrath, do not force the demo script — use the bosses page for the 25% rule instead.
Names you will see later (not an order)
Community-observed, all TBA: Meridian Village, Great Library, Canal Hamlet, Royal Highroads, Auric Palace, Deepthorne, Stonetusk Canyon, Desert of the Last Memory, Clockmaker’s Rest, and a tropical Lantern Port named in one review. Official demo also mentioned an Ancient Temple. Map them on locations when captured in-game.
The mid-run spike is not a new biome. It is the boss that sits on the chain.
When a region goes sideways
Matched by build plan, shared topics, and guide progression — not random related links.
You fight when a region’s chain or anchor is ready — not on a published weekday timer. Official structure: each boss mixes sword combat with a platform phase at every 25% HP. Clear the platforms to resume the fight. Movement tools matter as much as Minutero strings.

Wrath is the only widely described opener
Demo end: wide lava arena, gear-blade arms, chain back, fast lunges, slams, spread and burst shots. At health gates Wrath leaps to the centre and charges; Grapple the outer platforms and knock the attack down. Later roster names circulating in reviews (emotion-themed fights, a desert explorer beat, and others) stay TBA on this page. Do not import a third-party wiki boss table we have not captured.
Prep is movement, not a loadout
There is no weapon swap. Spend Upgrade Gears on Grapple / mobility and a health pip before a chain fight. Potion rules stay TBA. Full phase notes: bosses. Combat inputs: combat.
After the arena, the correct next map is usually Tick Town, not the next biome on a fan list.
When do I return to Tick Town?
Return after a region, after a boss, and whenever a new gadget would reopen hub streets. Cloudie dialogue changes after story beats. Upgrade Gears only become power when you spend them. The Traveler’s full stock is an achievement, not a first-sitting goal.
Do01After the first forest stretch — spend the first Upgrade Gears
Do02After Grapple unlocks — walk Tick Town for new hook routes
Do03After each chain boss — talk, shop, then pick the next region
Do04When a story achievement pops (Academy, Cuckoo, Gramps) — re-check hub lines
Do05Before the Clock Tower — confirm the in-game chains are down
Do06During 100% cleanup — hub last, because gadgets reopen it too
The hub has its own story beat
Break Tick Town’s Temporal Anchor is a listed achievement. It is not the same as a distant Clock Tower chain. Do it when the game points you at it; do not assume it is hour one. Hub geography: locations.
How long is a full walkthrough?
About 11–16 hours main · ~16 hours toward 100%. Community platinum notes sit around 9–12 hours if you clean collectibles after the story. This Duskfade walkthrough is the spine; the platinum page is the trophy pass.
Going home is not the same as turning around inside a biome. That is the next decision.
When do I turn around for collectibles?
Turn around when a new gadget exists, not when a completionist itch starts. Duskfade is built so Dash, Grapple, Glide, and Rail Grind reopen old Tick Town and biome paths. Trophy writeups say you can finish the story first and clean up; current reports also say nothing is missable. Still keep a save before the tower until that stays true on your build.

What to take on the first pass
Always: Upgrade Gears, Clock Heart Pieces, Echoes that sit on the path. Optional: Music Boxes for Arpeggio, cards, Tailord’s kittens, Wally hiding spots, Rainbow Ingots. Community “203” and stained-glass counts stay TBA. Index: collectibles.
Do not use a third-party RPG checklist
Some unofficial pages invent gear rarity, classes, and multi-weapon pools. Those are not this game. If a list names a pickup that is not Gears, hearts, ingots, boxes, cards, kittens, Wally, Echoes, or a named achievement item, mark it unverified.
When every chain is down, the walkthrough has one destination left.
How do I finish the Clock Tower?
Enter the Clock Tower only after the region chains are broken (reviews say four; the studio site says five regions — follow the HUD). Achievement copy: open the Tower doors, escape with Allira, and (separately) fall from the top of the Tower for a bronze. We will not invent floor names, a final-boss script, or a published room count.

Keep a clean save
Missables are currently reported as none, including on an easy story setting. That can change. Keep a file before you commit to the tower if you still need hub NPCs, the Traveler, or Palette. Trophy path: achievements and platinum.
After the credits
Cleanup is the same loop with better movement: Tick Town → marked biomes → leftover hearts, gears, boxes, kittens, Wally, cards, ingots. If a community name never appeared on your HUD, it was never official. Use locations as the living map, and tips if you are still leaking time on first-pass completionism.
Duskfade walkthrough FAQ
Is there an official Duskfade region order?
No published chapter list. Reviews describe four Clock Tower chains; the developer site says five major regions. Named biome order is community-observed. Ezarus Forest and Scorched Grove are the early pair in retail footage; later names stay TBA.
Do I have to 100% each region before the next chain?
No. New gadgets reopen old paths. Take hearts and Upgrade Gears; leave cosmetics for cleanup — collectibles.
When do I return to Tick Town?
After a region or a boss, and after every movement unlock that could reopen hub streets.
What is the first boss?
Demo coverage ends on Wrath in a volcanic arena. Retail may place forest hours first. The 25% platform rule is the constant — bosses.
When does the Clock Tower open?
After the region chains are down (count TBA). Then open the doors and rescue Allira.
Does the demo walkthrough match the full game?
Same opening idea, shorter. Demo progress does not carry. Do not follow a demo-only map as the retail chapter list.
