What Discord is not

It is not a second save file, not a gear calculator, and not a place this wiki will quote for invented HP numbers. If a pin disagrees with a row here, trust the pin for server rules and trust Steam for store facts.

Size is a snapshot, not a flex

Invite-page size on August 14, 2026 was ~536 members. That is a community snapshot from the Discord invite page, not a live member counter and not a promise of nightly voice raids. We will not invent online counts, boost level, or staff display names.

If that is enough reason to join, the next section is the actual click path — desktop, mobile, and browser.

Desktop Discord app

Open Discord → click the + on the server list → Join a Server → paste https://discord.gg/SXUD56N → Join Server. After join, pin the guild or leave 📢announcements and 📰news unmuted. If the join box rewrites the URL, read the code again — it still has to be SXUD56N.

Mobile and browser

On a phone, open the same invite in the Discord app or a browser, log in, and accept. In a desktop browser the join screen is the same URL. If Discord asks you to download the app, that is optional — the invite still has to be SXUD56N after you land. Browser join does not need a second “official” domain.

What Accept is not

Discord never needs your Steam password, console store login, or a screenshot of a credit-card receipt to join a guild. Any “staff verification” that asks for those is a scam. This wiki also never asks you to log into a store to prove you own Duskfade. Safety basics: Discord Safety.

Once the sidebar is visible, the next job is confirming you did not land on a lookalike.

Steam Community is a source, not a second invite

Steam Community news for Duskfade has pointed players at “join our Discord.” That post should resolve to https://discord.gg/SXUD56N, not a new vanity. If a comment under the news posts a different code, treat the comment as unofficial.

Developer site and store page

Weird Beluga at weirdbeluga.com and Fireshine Games promo also point at the official Discord. The Steam store is the buy page — it does not replace the invite, and it does not create a second guild.

If the URL checks out, the sidebar should match the Browse Channels list on this page — three categories, eleven logged rooms. Uncaptured rooms stay unnamed here.

No LFG room in the logged browse

Searchers expect a Looking-for-group line on any Discord page. Duskfade is Single-player. The captured sidebar has no LFG channel — that is correct. Do not invent a raid schedule. If staff later add a “find a friend who also plays” chat, match the live name.

Mute is a feature

Leave 📢announcements and 📰news unmuted. 🧭off-topic and 🐱pets do not need to ping you at 2 a.m. You can still search the sidebar later.

Once you know which rooms are pins versus chatter, the next skill is asking a question without ruining someone else’s first Tick Town hour.

What is safe in campfire-chat

Controls, “does the demo carry” (it does not), “should I spend gears on looks” (no), and “three heart pieces make a pip” are first-hours facts. They belong next to the beginner guide and tips. They are not ending spoilers.

What needs a spoiler tag

Clock Tower interior, Allira’s situation beyond the store-page hook, later boss names from community lists, and any “here is the last chain” route. The logged browse has no dedicated spoilers room — tag it in 💭campfire-chat or open a 💡questions-suggestions thread. This wiki’s characters page already gates late roles — match that energy in chat.

Help questions that stay useful

A good ask: platform, roughly which hub loop you are on, the gadget you have, and a screenshot with UI if a ledge is gated. A bad ask: “how do I beat the game” plus an untagged ending clip. Chat will guess; the walkthrough will not invent a missing biome name.

One invite, several doors

If Steam news, X, and this page ever disagree on the code, stop and re-read the invite page title. The verified string on August 16, 2026 is SXUD56N. We will not invent a second vanity because a screenshot looked similar.

This wiki is unofficial

duskfade.online is a fan guide site. We do not speak for Weird Beluga or Fireshine Games. We also do not scrape Discord into a fake changelog. When a pin lands, treat the pin as the server’s voice and this page as the join sheet.

After you are in, you still need a first-hours playbook. Chat will assume you already left Tick Town.

Ask after you tried the page

“I spent gears on looks and Wrath’s 25% gate killed me” is a useful Discord question. “Tell me the whole game” is not. The tips page is the habit sheet; Discord is the live check when a ledge still does not match.
